Veredus has teamed up with Andrew Nicholson to launch the E-Vento, which aim to combine maximum protection together with comfort for horses going cross country.
Fully waterproof, the boots don’t absorb or retain water, meaning they stay dry despite weather and going conditions. And, although they offer robust protection, the boots are lightweight – allowing greater freedom of movement and flexibility. They also boast protective pads in polyurethane foam which help reduce the shock felt during high impact.
How they work
The boots are made in microperforated neoprene AEROX, (which allows the horse’s skin to breathe, avoiding sweating and overheating of the tendons), together with 3D mesh ducted fabric to guarantee double ventilation. This clever bit of technology involves heat from the horses’ legs passing through the microperforated neoprene layer and then being distributed in the 3D mesh ducted fabric. As the horse moves air is tunnelled through specialist inlets which directs accumulated body heat outwards through the technical ducted fabric.
"My horses' legs matter. The E-vento boots fit, protect and don't restrict movement - that’s what I need from a cross country boot - it's that simple."
